Ana sayfa / Graphic Cards

NVIDIA has quietly introduced a new version of the GeForce RTX 4070. With the GeForce RTX 4070 GDDR6 version, NVIDIA has introduced a new alternative to the popular graphics card’s memory. The RTX 4070 was released last October with 12GB of GDDR6X memory.

NVIDIA has unveiled the GeForce RTX 4070 with GDDR6 memory to help increase supply and availability. According to the company, the only difference between the new version and the standard graphics card will be the type of memory.

Both graphics cards have the same 5888 CUDA cores based on the AD104 GPU, 192-bit memory interface and 12GB of VRAM. However, the GDDR6 memory type runs at a slower speed (20Gbps) compared to the 21Gbps found in GDDR6X. It’s unclear how this will affect performance.

Dying Light: The Beast unveiled! Free for Ultimate Edition owners

A brand new game in the Dying Light series is coming: Dying Light: The Beast was revealed at the major gaming convention in Cologne.

The drop to GDDR6 will cause memory bandwidth to drop from 504GB/s to 480GB/s. NVIDIA emphasized that despite the decrease in bandwidth, performance in games and applications will remain “the same”. The RTX 4070 GDDR6 will have a 200W TDP and the same power connection option.

Pricing follows the steps of RTX 4070 SUPER after its launch. Accordingly, RTX 4070 GDDR6 will hit the shelves at $549. It is unclear for now how it will be priced in our country.

RTX 4070 GDDR6 will have support for Game Ready drivers. Accordingly, it will be available globally from September with manufacturers such as Palit and Gainward.
